Dear Connie, I heard your recording of “I Will” on KUVO, Denver’s NPR jazz station, while driving home from work one morning. Your voice was so riveting I sat in the car in my driveway through two more selections (not, unfortunately, from your album!) so I could jot down your name when the dj finally came back on the air. I ordered “Let It Be Jazz” that night online, (along with all the other CDs of yours I could find) and it arrived about a week later, on my birthday. What a treat! I particularly like the myriad of styles you employ in each of the renditions on “Let It Be Jazz”. Every song is fresh and different; your backup musicians are superb; your articulation is perfect; your voice is just gorgeous, so flexible and accurate.
