I first heard Connie Evingson on the local jazz station here in Seattle. It was the standard, “More Than You Know”. I was really impressed and taken by the sultry and sexy performance and rushed to find the CD. Unfortunately, neither Tower Records or Borders Books had it. But I finally tracked down a copy of “Some Cats Know” at a jazz only record store.(One can purchase it online also) I really enjoyed the album and it quickly became one of my favorites. I was also fortunate enough to catch her perform live at the Crepe De Paris in Seattle and she is really sensational. If you like great music, give Connie Evingson a try.
